For a memorable meal, you can enjoy a delightful Christmas or New Year’s Three course choice menu at the restaurant for € 47.95. There's also a special children’s menu available for € 19.95.

Extensive luxury Breakfast Buffet

To start your special mornings right, the restaurant will also be serving an extensive luxury breakfast buffet during the holidays.

Dates & times:

Our special holiday breakfast buffet will be available from December 23, 2025, through January 2, 2026. The buffet is served daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Please note that on New Year’s Day (January 1st), breakfast hours are extended, running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Cost:

- € 23.50 per person

- € 14.50 per child

- Children under 3 years old eat breakfast for free.

Don't miss out on celebrating with us! The restaurant will be operating with limited hours and reservation-only seating on December 31st.

The latest you can book a table is 7:00 PM. We recommend making your reservation as soon as possible!

Wonderful Winter Cruise

All aboard! Reserve a spot on the special winter and Christmas cruise of Rederij Cascade and make an unforgettable journey across the Maasplassen. Huddle up beneath a cozy blanket on de deck of a gorgeously decorated ship and watch the endless starry night. Upon arrival, Santa himself will welcome you aboard and during the cruise, all kinds of delicious Christmas treats will be served.

Christmas Hunt & Festive Activities for Children

During the Christmas period, children can take part in our fun Christmas Hunt around the park. Various Christmas figures are hidden throughout the area — but one is missing! It’s up to the children to discover which figure is missing while exploring the park.

In addition, we organise a variety of festive children’s activities, such as making Christmas baubles from foam clay, glitter tattoos with Christmas designs, crafting decorations for the tree, painting Christmas angels, a Christmas quiz, Christmas karaoke, and more. Don’t forget to say hello to Happy Benny in his Christmas outfit, who adds even more festive cheer to the experience!

Eynder Pieck Festival

Eynder Pieck Festival

On the 13th and 14th of December, between 15:00 and 20:00, the Eynder Pieck festival is back again!

Each year, the Eynderhoof open-air museum leaps back in time to the setting of Anton Pieck’s paintings, with cozy little stalls, nice bites, music, a merry-go-round, and a fire spectacle!

Tickets cost € 12.50 for grown-ups and € 6.00 for children, and the museum is a 20-minute drive from the park.

Christmas in Thorn

Experience the Christmas Atmosphere in Thorn

This year, the white town of Thorn is the setting for a romantic Christmas atmosphere for the 30th time.

On Sunday, December 14th, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the traditional Christmas Market will take place in the attractively decorated historic centre of the white town and at the beautiful Kasteelhoeve De Grote Hegge (De Grote Hegge Castle Farm). The more than 70 stallholders offer visitors an extensive and very varied assortment. A large number of volunteers from the Royal Harmony of Thorn will be providing freshly baked waffles and delicious oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts). The choir “Equal Voices” from Nederweert will take you back to the time of Dickens and Scrooge, singing music in the streets of Thorn. At the Kasteelhoeve De Grote Hegge, there will be exciting raptor shows! These will take place at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

As a Christmas Market visitor, you can walk freely into the beautiful Abbey Church of Thorn from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM and enjoy a varied series of ensembles under the title “Abdijconcertino’s” (Abbey Concertinos). A special programme ranging from high-level classical wind music to swinging performances with golden oldies. These mini-concerts have been a fixed and very successful part of the Christmas Market in Thorn for years. Just like last year, a nice variety of ensembles will also perform for you in the knight's hall of the Kasteelhoeve De Grote Hegge. Children are also thought of: for them, there will be a magical meet and greet with a magician at the castle farm!

As a special thank you, every guest staying at Parc Maasresidence Thorn on December 14th will get free tickets to the Christmas Market! Free tickets are available at the reception.

This year, you can even visit the Christmas Market by boat with Rederij Cascade (Cascade Shipping Company)! Combine a visit to the white town with a winter cruise in a Christmas atmosphere.

Christmas in Roermond

Christmas in Roermond  

Sinterklaas in Roermond

Every year, Sinterklaas, the Petes, his horse and steamboat come to Roermond to celebrate a nice party with the visitors. In 2025 it will be the 75th time that Sinterklaas will celebrate this party in the city center of Roermond.

Sinterklaas will arrive at the Roerkade with his steamboat on Sunday. From here he goes in a colorful parade complete with Pietenfanfare through the center of Roermond (via the Brugstraat, Neerstraat and Paredisstraat) on his way to the Munsterplein.

The Sinterklaas entry at the Roerkade in Roermond starts on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. and ends around 3:30 p.m. at Munsterplein.

Come to the Light Parade

On Friday evening, November 21st, ROERMONDVOL Licht (Roermond Full of Light) will start with a festive opening. To celebrate this launch, a dazzling Light Parade with interactive light and music acts will move through the city centre.

Come and enjoy a cozy evening together, full of light, music, and experience—the ideal outing for all ages!

Designer Outlet Roermond

Furthermore, Designer Outlet Roermond will go the extra mile once again to deliver an amazing Christmas shopping experience. Throughout the festive season the shopping village turns into a fairytale Christmas village, with sparkling displays, little food stands, and of course, great Christmas deals!

Winter Fever Arena

The historic Munsterplein in Roermond transforms into the festive Winter Fever Arena from 28 November to 4 January, offering a cosy winter pavilion with music, themed activities, and family-friendly entertainment. Most activities are free, making it a lovely spot to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere during your visit to Roermond.

Christmas in Valkenburg

Valkenburg, the pearl of South Limburg, once again has exciting plans for the upcoming Christmas season this year. Besides the Christmas parade and a visit from Santa Claus, a unique Christmas market will take place in Valkenburg's famous caves between November 14th and January 4th.

Be sure to look around, as the caves hide many wonders, such as beautiful decorations, walk-through stories, light spectaculars, and much more!

Once again, between the 28th of November and the 29th of December, the Vrijthof will host a stunning Christmas market.
