When you arrive on Monday, our stylish, comfortable, and fully equipped accommodation will stand at the ready. You will feel right at home in the serene atmosphere of peace and comfort that pervades Parc Maasresidence Thorn. Take a casual stroll through the luxury resort and end up enjoying a delicious dinner at Humphrey’s Thorn. Indulge in all of the tasty Burgundian dishes. For example, you could start with the crispy fried salmon roll, take the juicy mixed grill as a main, and end your taste sensation with a delectable Geuteling pancake.
The natural surroundings at our resort are simply begging to be explored. That’s why, Tuesday will be a day of hiking in the countryside of Parc Maasresidence Thorn. As you make your way across quaint, winding little roads and lush green fields, you can breathe in the fresh Limburg air and enjoy nature’s marvelous display all around you.
Good weather on Wednesday? Well, then it’s time for a water day! At MRT Beach you can rent an exciting SUP board or an exhilarating Efoil. As you float across the calm water, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the majestic Maasplassen. Take a break and treat yourself to some coffee with a sweet treat at beach bar Naut. Later on, you can trade in your SUP board for a paddle boat and take your time peacefully exploring the rest of the surroundings. Should the weather leave something to be desired, then you can always rent a sloop instead!
On Thursday, your weekly planning will bring you to the bustling city of Roermond. This city is renowned for its fantastic shopping areas. Casually stroll through the cobbled streets and discover the various boutiques or visit the world-famous Designer Outlet Roermond. After a day of shopping bliss, you can grab a cozy terrace and indulge in local specialties such as the apricot “Vlaai” of Limburg.
Friday will be a day to discover the white city of Thorn. Make your way through the picturesque little streets and characteristic white houses and be awed by the gorgeous abbey church. Let the peaceful atmosphere guide you through the charming shops and cozy cafés. Did you know that you can visit this enchanting city simply by following the brand-new boulevard that stretches along the Maasplassen from our resort?
A visit to the charming town of Valkenburg on Saturday absolutely needs to be on the itinerary. Here, the historic castle ruins and fascinating caves will leave you mesmerized. Delve into the rich history of the area and stroll through winding little streets and alleys, filled with convivial cafés and restaurants.
On Sunday, it’s time to relax at the MRT Pool, the amazing covered pool complex at our luxury holiday park. Splash around in the water, throw your hands into the air as you go down the slide, and relax in the warm whirlpool. Prepare for a day filled with fun and relaxation. And the little ones? Naturally, they can play in the kiddie pool all day!
On Monday, the week has unfortunately drawn to a close. Finish off your spectacular week with a bang! Visit Toverland, a magical theme park that guarantees nothing short of a riveting and sensational day.
