What could be better than boarding your boat a few steps away from your accommodation? The beautifully landscaped marina has jetties with spacious berths for park guests and passers-by, is easily accessible, and is located on the attractive park boulevard.
This pleasant marina has approximately 50 berths, with jetties suitable for boats up to approximately 10 meters in length. The berths are equipped with electric sockets. The spacious layout of the harbor allows you to sail in and maneuver freely to find the perfect berth for your boat or sloop. Parc Maasresidence Thorn is the ideal base for sailing out and discovering the Maasplassen.
The MRT Harbor is also the departure point for our sloops and pedal boats. You can rent these at the reception.
Please be aware that the maximum vertical clearance for the MRT Harbor bridge is +- 2.30 meters at normal water levels. Crafts exceeding this height limit will not be able to dock at the harbor itself.

Sloop rental
At Parc Maasresidence Thorn you can easily rent a sloop at the reception area. You don’t need a special license for this. The gorgeous sloops are waiting for you in the marina, close to all of the central facilities. Act quickly, because they are extremely popular.
The sloops are available from the beginning of April to the end of October.
What else you should know:
We have 10 sloops available every day, so make sure to reserve on time.
Our sloops are fully equipped with a luxurious pillow set, sun deck, and spray hood. The boat is fitted with a petrol motor at the rear. A maximum of six people are allowed per boat. Payment may be concluded on the day of departure by debit- or credit card at the park reception. In addition, a deposit of € 300 will be charged, which should be paid by debit- or credit card. Cash is not accepted.
A sloop can be rented from the age of 21. Families with children are exempt from this rule.
Electric Water Bikes
Wish to explore the Maasplassen in comfort and style? Then rent a super-modern electric water bike at our MRT Harbor! Cruise along and take in the magnificent surroundings at your own pace. You can even choose to bring along a picnic!
Prices are:
- € 35 for one hour.
- € 60 for two hours.
- € 100 for four hours.
- € 195 for a whole day.
The electric water bikes are suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Dogs are not permitted. Prepare for an amazing aquatic adventure by booking these bikes at the reception or online.
