This simple system of signposts offers cyclists and walkers endless possibilities. There are a number of cycling and walking networks along Thorn, which can be started at any (node) point. 

All routes in Central Limburg give you the feeling that you have entered a different world. Hear the friendly sounds of the language specific to the area, explore the lush natural habitat next to the river and taste a piece of flan or other regional dishes from Limburg. 

This area is of course extremely popular with mountain bikers. The beautiful mountain bike routes and marked routes take you along a varied landscape of forests and extensive heathlands. Paths are speckled with loose sand, vicious short climbs and are combined with the various natural elements. All of these ensure that the mountain bikers can fully pursue their hobby. The park has so many facilities with bikers in mind, such as an outdoor tap at the holiday villas, designed to get your bike shiny and clean again. 

Did you leave your own bicycle, e-bike or mountain bike at home? No problem! Parc Maasresidence Thorn has its own bicycle and e-chopper rental. Mountain bikes, e-bikes, e-chopper or bicycles, large or small, with or without children’s seats - it’s your choice. You can receive more information on this at the reception of the park. 

The recently constructed cycling and walking boulevard runs from the westernmost point of Thorn, along the banks of the Maasplassen and MRT Beach through the heart of the park to Wessem. From your accommodation you can walk along the banks and across the bridge to MRT Beach or get on your bike for a wonderful day out.
