The recreation zone at Area X, located in De Weerd in Roermond, has always been popular with both the young and old. Watersports enthusiasts can show off at the ultramodern wakeboard and water ski slope and afterwards enjoy a cozy wind down by the water, on the terrace of the futuristic Moby Dick restaurant.

Roermond Wake Park
Beaver Creek Wake Park's hugely popular full-size wakeboard and water ski course is open every day during the high season. The BC Wake Park has a central location in De Weerd (Roermond), easily accessed on the N280 and just a 10-minute walk from the Designer Outlet Center and the center of Roermond. But the BC Wake Park can also be reached by boat. Moor your boat or sloop at one of the park's moorings. There are 80 free parking spaces directly at the entrance.
Guidance and lessons
There are plenty of opportunities for beginners to learn wakeboarding or water skiing: from individual lessons to groups, from courses to the multi-day Kid’s Camps. There are possibilities for professional coaching for both beginners and advanced learners who want to learn new tricks. You can also rent wakeboards, water skis and life jackets.
