Parc Maasresidence Thorn has a lot on offer for resort guests and day guests alike. The luxurious holiday park is spaciously setup, intertwined with surrounding nature and a magnificent view across the water, granting an ultimate feeling of freedom.
The resort features an array of great facilities for all ages and interests, from a private beach with SUP and E-Foil rental to a bowling alley and children’s animation. Everyone is welcome to enjoy our beautiful resort on the Maasplassen lakes, including people who happen to be in the neighborhood for a day!
Lighting fireworks at the park is prohibited in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests.

With the day beach at MRT Beach and the brand new indoor swimming pool MRT Pool, Parc Maasresidence Thorn can be enjoyed all year round by every age group. You can splash into the water from the large slide, swim a few laps, enjoy the spacious whirlpool while the kids play in the spacious children's pool. Don’t forget to dry off on the terrace of Humphrey’s Thorn afterwards!
Children will never be bored at Parc Maasresidence Thorn. There are many facilities and activities for children of all ages in the accommodations and all around the park. From bowling and swimming to the Happy Benny Kids Club. Happy Benny is our park mascot and undoubtedly the greatest friend of kids. Together with the Kids Club animator team, Happy Benny provides a packed and rich program of activities.
What could be better than boarding your boat right after stepping out of a holiday villa? The beautifully landscaped marina, located next to the park’s attractive boulevard has spacious moorings with jetties which are easy to reach. You can moor your boat, rent a sloop at the marina and set out to discover the beautiful surroundings from the water!

We are happy to welcome you in restaurant Humphrey's, where an extensive breakfast buffet including fresh bread, a broad selection of meats and cheese, scrambled eggs, granola, and a rich variety of fruit awaits you.
From 8 o’clock onwards, our MRT Shop & Bakery with bakery is open. Here you will find everything for a delicious breakfast, from fresh rolls and croissants to delicious juices and spreads.

Whether you're looking for a quick snack or ingredients for an extensive dinner, you can find everything at the MRT Shop & Bakery. The shelves are stocked with both durable goods as well as fresh produce and bread. Furthermore, you can find a range of holiday must-haves, such as games, a good book, or swim gear.

The perfect game for the entire family; Bowling is dynamic and exciting right up until the last seconds of every round. Do you know how to create the perfect angle and hit all of the pins? The bowling alley has four lanes and is located in one of the park's central buildings, right above the restaurant. After booking and registering at the reception, you can choose bowling shoes in your size.
Would you like to discover the area right from the water? At Parc Maasresidence Thorn you can easily rent a sloop from the front desk. You don’t even need a license. The beautiful sloops are waiting for you in the marina, on the park’s boulevard and opposite the central facilities. Act quickly, because they are extremely popular.
Would you like to enjoy the beauty of nature on the water in perfect peace? Do it in style on our pedal boats for a maximum of four people. It’s easy to grasp and suitable for all ages. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a great time with a group. Find the pedal boats in the marina and glide across the water to MRT Beach. You can rent the boats at the front desk, complete with life jackets.
The Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) has quickly become a very popular activity on the Maasplassen. From the marina, you can easily get on a SUP board to explore the area from the water. One with nature but active and relaxed at the same time! The SUP boards with paddles are located in the marina of the park and can be rented via at MRT Beach.
Discover what the heart of Limburg has to offer while enjoying a ride on a bicycle or e-chopper. There is so much to see and experience in this region! There are various routes which take you from Parc Maasresidence Thorn past picturesque villages and boundless green nature. You don't have a bicycle or mountain bike on hand during your holiday? No problem! You can simply rent these from the front desk. You can even ask for a child seat for your bicycle, everything is possible: from all types of bikes with which you can cruise through the Central Limburgian landscape.
Whether you decide to cross the lake with a pedal boat or choose to enjoy a nice walk or cycling trip on the boulevard, MRT Beach is definitely worth discovering! Here, you can enjoy various outdoor activities whilst the versatile Maasplassen allows water sports enthusiasts to truly indulge themselves.
As a guest of the park, you have free access to MRT Beach.
From the 1st of October onwards, the MRT Beach, including all facilities such as the beach bar, the volleyball field, and the SUP/Efoil rentals, will be closed until the spring of 2025.
The eFoil boards are equipped with a long fin and a powerful electric motor, with which you can fly endlessly over the water without the need of wind or waves. eFoiling is easy to learn on MRT Beach! There is a special E-Flow team on hand, you can rent SUP boards from them in addition to getting eFoil lessons and going to workshops.
Wish to explore the Maasplassen in comfort and style? Then rent a super-modern electric water bike at our MRT Harbor! Cruise along and take in the magnificent surroundings at your own pace. You can even choose to bring along a picnic!

During the weekends, if the weather allows it, Zensitive’s massage clinic will be available for anyone looking to relax their body and soul. Challenge your friends to an exciting penalty shootout or play life-sized Tic-Tac-Toe! The X-Wall in the MRT Promenade has it all and more! Discover over 40 unique games on this state-of-the-art, interactive wall. There are games for 2 to 8 players of all ages, so invite the whole family for an unforgettable gaming session!
Dogs are very welcome at the park and can enjoy themselves in the natural environment. It's not a coincidence that our park mascot, 'Happy Benny', is a dog. You can walk straight into the palm of nature from your accommodation and there are dispensers with bags and trash cans available in the park.
Day guests are more than welcome to make use of all the great facilities at Parc Maasresidence Thorn. At the reception in the MRT Promenade, day guests can find information about all activities and make bookings where necessary. Everything, from boat and bike rental to dinner in Humphrey’s Thorn restaurant, is readily available.
While the swimming pool is reserved for park guests during school holidays in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, all other facilities and activities remain open to day guests throughout the year.
All villas in the park are equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. Charging your vehicle is included in the rental price of a villa. Guests who have reserved a property can charge their vehicle at the reserved property free of charge.
For guests who have reserved an apartment or hotel room, and for visitors, there are public charging stations available at various locations throughout the park.

The perfect location to recharge your energies during or after a meeting. Parc Maasresidence Thorn offers one meeting room where you will be completely unburdened. You schedule the meeting you want, from a morning or afternoon meeting to longer business conferences. Combine these with lunch, dinner, an overnight stay or one of our packages. Let the reception know of your preferences and we will happily be at your service.
The front desk is the point of contact for all park guests. You will find the spacious reception area in the center of the park in one of the central buildings. At our multilingual front desk you can obtain detailed information about all facilities or activities in the vicinity of the park. You can also rent bicycles, sloops and more.

We love coffee. And tea. We love the smell, the taste, the warm feeling. The way they tingle the senses and stimulate good conversations. The coffee we serve is Blanche Dael; the coffee roastery and tea warehouse of Maastricht. Our fresh ice cream is sourced from Ijssalon Laaker Boere ies, an ice cream parlor from the nearby village of Ohé and Laak, where fresh milk of the day is transformed into artisanal Laaker Boere ies since 2010.
Laaker Boere ies is known for ice cream with superb craftsmanship, made with only the finest ingredients! This results in a full taste and creamy texture.
Parc Maasresidence Thorn has made it its goal to seek as many collaborations as possible with suppliers of local products. At the entrance to the supermarket you will find our Coffee and Ice Cream 'to go' corner; a perfect example of our objective. Feel free to come by and enjoy these (local) products!
