Today is the day! For months, lorries, bulldozers, cranes, glaziers, electricians, and other busy vehicles have been driving up and down the path just east of Parc Maasresidence Thorn.
Slowly but surely, the empty, sandy plain has completely transformed! Now that the last bulbs are being swivelled in, the hedges are neatly trimmed, and the windows receive a final polishing, an image of something completely new slowly immerses. Our luxury holiday park has just been expanded significantly, with a set of stunning, new streets! Charming brick-and-mortar villas in various colors with traditional gabled roofs, covered terraces, and lush gardens shine in the mild autumn sun, awaiting new adventures! A bit further ahead, the once-busy eastern road now traverses across the Maasplassen, toward a breathtaking peninsula with a wholly new type of villa. These modern marvels are surrounded by water on all sides and represent the epitome of luxury at our resort. Today, the new villas will be available for booking and in July of 2024, we will gladly welcome the first guests; but what can you expect upon arrival?

As you may know, the Kids Special already exists in our current park: a spacious villa with a special children’s room and a play corner, bordering a large, enclosed playground. Given the popularity of this accommodation, however, we have decided to further erect Kids Special villas in the new phase.
A riveting new playground with all kinds of adventurous equipment has been constructed in one of the central areas. A unique design feature of this playground is the fact that it is surrounded by the Kids Special villas on all sides, basically allowing children to access the playground from their fenced-in garden freely without the risk of running away or getting lost. This gives parents some well-deserved respite, which they can enjoy from the comforts of the large, covered terrace attached to the backside of every Kids Special villa.
Parc Maasresidence Thorn is proud to turn a new page in the high-end holiday experience we have provided our guests since the spring of 2022. As is the case with the rest of the resort, the Maasplassen and its natural surroundings will be seamlessly incorporated into every nook and cranny.
