Each season adds something new, but like my grandpa said, “New is good, as long as it’s better than the old”. Some proverbs are simply not as profound as others…

The Premium Island villa – From the 12th of July Onward

A great summer experience largely relies upon the accommodation you stay at. That’s why we have decided to unlock the most stunning spot in all of Limburg for our guests. Nestled on a peninsula surrounded by the lush waters of the Maasplassen, lie the brand-new Premium Island villas. These stunning jewels of luxury and comfort feature large gardens that border the water and spacious, covered terraces that offer a mesmerizing view of the surroundings.

Furthermore, the interior of this villa-type harbors an extravagant surprise that is found nowhere else on the resort, namely a private hot tub with a panorama sauna. These modern villas play with natural light. Large windows, smart angles, and an open concept make the light dance through all the spaces… kind of like with the stained-glass windows of the Sagrada Familia… but then without the stained glass and… well, the whole churchiness.

The Wellness villas are for the true epicureans among us who wish to treat themselves to a relaxing holiday experience. During the summer in Limburg, there is no better spot to experience this than the backyard of the Wellness villa. Fully immerse yourself in the summer heat with an authentic barrel sauna and cool down in the outdoor showers afterward. Stretch out on one of the sunbeds with a good book and a glass of bubbles or float around carelessly in the wooden outdoor bath.

Furthermore, the villa boasts a large, covered terrace with a luxurious lounge area and a barbecue. Personally, I would be queueing up to book this villa… kind of like with… yeah kind of like with the Sagrada Familia.

Massages at MRT Beach – May, June, and September

Last year, the brand-spanking new MRT Beach was unveiled, and this year Parc Maasresidence Thorn decided to take things up a notch. In May, June, and September, Praktijk Zensitive will have its very own massage clinic at MRT Beach. When the temperature exceeds 20 degrees, guests can indulge themselves with a 30-,60-, or 90-minute massage by booking via the Leisure King system. After a SUP, E-Foil, or volleyball session, it’s the ultimate way to fully recuperate. Let the summer sink into your skin with Ti Yuen’s crafty and artistic hands… much like Antoni Gaudi’s crafty and artistic hands when he was designing the Sagrada Familia…

EV Charging Stations for All Villas – From Mid-July Onward

Quite a few resorts and holiday parks have EV charging stations at their parking lots these days, but so far, we haven’t seen any with charging stations next to every home… until now. An increasing number of guests visit Parc Maasresidence Thorn with an electric car; an environmentally conscious choice that should be rewarded. Instead, however, it usually leads to additional headaches. Long walks to the car, a cable jammed through a kitchen window, creative parking next to an outlet… none of it contributes to a positive holiday experience. With brand-new charging stations for every villa, we hope to make the summer holiday of electric car owners a little easier. Oh, and by the way, charging is free of charge!

In some way, you could compare these charging stations to the Sagrada Fam-no! I went too far this time; I felt it. Sorry.
